Growing up in South Louisiana, rice and gravy wasn’t just dinner—it was tradition, comfort, and culture served nightly. These ordinary yet iconic moments of Cajun life have become the foundation of my artistic mission: to reimagine and revitalize the everyday symbols of Cajun culture through the lens of pop art.

By transforming traditional items like the humble rice pot into bold, colorful works—painted in unexpected neon greens, hot pinks, and bright yellows—I aim to bring joy, nostalgia, and a renewed sense of pride to our cultural heritage.
